DAVID BECKHAM UNVEILED THE NEW FALL/WINTER 2009-10 EMPORIO ARMANI UNDERWEAR CAMPAIGN AT SELFRIDGES OXFORD STREET
June 11th, 2009, Milan – Giorgio Armani is pleased to announce that his friend and international sporting icon David Beckham today unveiled the worldwide exclusive of the new Emporio Armani Underwear Fall / Winter 2009-10 campaign at Selfridges Oxford Street in London.
Welcomed onstage outside Selfridges by Gaby Logan, David Beckham, dressed in a navy blue Giorgio Armani single breasted suit, unveiled a new campaign image which covered the entire front facade of Selfridges to thousands of Londoners who turned up to greet him in spite of the tube strike. David Beckham then met 300 lucky fans who had previously qualified for a VIP meet and greet.
‘David has a great sense of style and is an inspiring role model – this is what makes him the perfect partner for Emporio Armani underwear. I am very excited that David Beckham’s new campaign image was unveiled exclusively in his home country and where better than at such an iconic retail destination as Selfridges,’ said Giorgio Armani.
